From production and cinematography to the original film score, this short film was created with the goal of using visual storytelling and atmosphere to make a German city feel like Los Angeles in the 1980s.

To achieve this, urban filming locations were carefully selected, with architecture and lighting moods that supported the desired aesthetic. Visual effects (VFX) were additionally used to stylize certain elements and enhance the illusion.

The music combines dark ambient textures with ironic undertones, deliberately playing with the contrast between seriousness and stylized exaggeration.

The film was screened at the Hessian University Film Festival and serves as a visual experiment between documentary reality and artificial memory – a homage to the urban cinema of past decades.
